Alex Mann, M.Eng

President

Trained as Materials and Polymers Engineer, and holding degrees of M.E. in Polymer Engineering, B.A. in Physics, B.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Alex Mann has 30 years experience in developing new materials, products and technologies based on PVC, PC, PMMA, PETG, PO, PA, EVA, PVOH, PU, PETG, TPE, Keldax, tire rubber, wood fiber-polymer compounds, biodegradable resins.

Alex was involved in development of extrusion equipment and technologies, and multimillion-dollar business developments which provided
his clients with unique advantages.

Alex Mann is an author of several patents and publications.

Mirek Planeta, P. Eng

Vice-President

Upon completion of M.E. in Polymer Processing in University of Prague, and after acquiring a broad experience in processing plastics with multiple plastics produces in UK and Canada, Mirek Planeta has founded OEM Macro Engineering & Technology Inc., and managed the company for over 35 years.

Planeta has turned Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. into a story of a commercial success, and into an industry leader in a field of plastic processing technology and machinery with special achievements in biaxially-oriented and co-extruded barrier films.

Mirek holds over 30 patents. In 2019 he decided to focus on biodegradability, sustainability and recycling and has founded Singular Solutions Inc.
